Veterans before Illegals
'Save America From Illegal Immigration's' mission is to inform Americans which of our nation's local sheriffs are utilizing the Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) 287G Program, to help stop the revolving door policy of the catch-n-release of arrested criminal illegal alien immigrants back into our communities. Presently there are only about 137 out of the nation's 3,143 county sheriffs that are using the ICE 287G Program to best 'protect and serve' us and we need to make sure all our nation's citizens and voters know just exactly who they are.
Every citizen and voter should ask all your public and elected officials this. Why is our own County Sheriff not signed on to a Memorandum Of Agreement (MOA) paid by the federal government to enforce the ICE 287G Program (in existence since before 2018), which is de-signed to help local law enforcement across the nation in stopping the revolving door policies of the catch-n-release of arrested criminal illegal alien immigrants back into our communities?

Program cost to the sheriffs’ department per illegal person
In the SHORT RUN it only costs $24.04/inmate/day. It only costs HCSO an average $24.04 per inmate per day because the posted average cost is quoted as $74.04/inmate/day and the ICE contract reimburses HCSO $50/inmate/day. So the difference and cost to HCSO and taxpayers is the average difference between the two which is $24.04/inmate/day.
However, in the LONG RUN this minimal investment of $24.04/inmate/day SAVES the county's, state's and nation's taxpayers BILLIONS OF DOLLARS PER DAY.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office - The daily operational cost is $74.04 per inmate.

Gov. DeSantis announces nationwide coalition of Sheriffs fighting against the Biden Border Crisis

Illegal Immigration has not only ravaged communities along the southern border, it has harmed states across the country with the deadly influx of cartel-trafficked fentanyl and higher rates of violent crime,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “I’m proud to work with this growing group of law enforcement leaders and bring Florida’s dedicated resources and leadership to bear on this national problem.”
While we have been urging the federal government to step up their efforts to secure our border, or at the very least help us deal with the impacts of the border crisis, these pleas have fallen on the deaf ears of an administration that is purposefully unwilling to enforce our nation’s immigration laws.
The undersigned Sheriffs join together to partner with Governor DeSantis and the state of Florida to preserve the safety and well-being of the citizens we serve.
We call on other law enforcement agencies to do the same.
